Ducktails, yo.
Things I love about this band:
1. Their name
2. They play really great music.
Ducktails are a band out of New Jersey playing really killer blissed out-beach influenced-wah wah pedal heavy-instrumental jams (watch your back, guys who describe things).
Check their myspace for a sample of their tunes. Best new band of 2009 if you ask me. Their self-titled debut album is coming out soon on Not Not Fun Records.
