So where's the sketch?

Some of you have been wondering where the "comedy" in "Sketch Comedy Since Roughly Last Week" is exactly.

Well, for the newcomers or uninitiated this blog is actually supposed to be the home for random sketches and ideas for a Seattle based sketch group called "Friends of Julius". The group consists of myself (Jason), Bobby Farrington and Sam Rousso as writers/directors/performers and our friend Will Lemke locking shit down behind the camera.

We have one sketch up on youtube and are currently prepping a little compilation of sketches which will hopefully be screened at the Seattle based variety show/comedy night "The Entertainment Show" on January 27th.

The reason for our meager output thus far is:
a. We are sort of lazy
b. It's hard to co-ordinate the schedules of 3 busy dudes.
c. Some of the sketches we have shot aren't up to our demanding standards and will never be seen by the public.
d. We are really lazy

So I hope you enjoy my ramblings and random thoughts in the meantime before FOJ drops some real science on you in 2009.
